Nice, Frenchy dining table done in a muted grey. Queen Anne-style legs (come off for easy transportation). Additional leaf to expand to accommodate more guests. Just in time for the holidays.
This great piece has been sanded, primed and painted in a top-rated grey paint. 1 18″ leaf included. Approximate dimensions (without the leaf) 60″ long x 40″ wide x 29″ tall. Leaf extends the table to a full 78″.
An on-line appraiser said this about these chairs:
“They were manufactured around 1875-1880. The tableture in the top crest would be a walnut veneer, burl. The rest of the woods I cannot see in the photo but these are often a mix of cherry, maple and birch. All light colored woods. Many are also all walnut but again, I cannot see the grain pattern.
At auction these would probably have sold around $50 – $75 each but in a retail setting would price at $250 each if in good condition. The seats alone would cost about $175 to have woven.
We are selling these great condition chairs for $300 – well below their appraised value.
The woven seats are all in good – excellent condition. 18″ seat height. Will be hard to find a better set for this age.
Solid-wood small dining/cafe table. Unique pedestal with different diameter pieces making up the column. Black in color, perfect for apartment or dorm. Chair sold separately. Also have a “matching” table lamp, similar in design to the pedestal ($40). Approximate dimensions 28 1/2″ in diameter x 30″ tall.
